Some great beaches on the west coast of Barbados

Western beachs of Barbados

Pink sand on the west side of the island

The Beach at Tamarind Cove
When you rent your car, you'll head north or east.

Well, start going north about halfway up and you'll see Tamarind Cove.  Park in the lot and wander through to the beach.   Dip your feet in the water and you'll feel like the guy running in the photo:  This is just too good to be true.

This
is the pool that you will walk past to get to the beach.

Look out for the trees -- after a rain storm, the fruits on the tree drip a sap that the locals call "poison" -- and the sap mixed with rain water is irritating to the skin.
