We went to Barbados in 2008 on a cruise. The aim was to GET TO THE BEACH and we got a small car. The drive began as a search for Earthworks, a pottery place in the center of the island.
The selection continues to grow. We saw a number of interns learning a useful skill.
After buying some ceramic ware, we headed for Tamarind Cove on the western edge of the island. You can park in the hotel's lot and then walk through to the beach.
What a delight.
